Mary Ann Sekerak

Controller

Mary Ann Sekerak joined Visconsi Companies, Ltd. in 1990. Initially hired as Accounting Manager, Ms. Sekerak was promoted to Controller in 1996. As Controller, Ms. Sekerak manages the accounting department. She is responsible for maintenance of all accounting records for the properties and related companies developed, owned, or managed by Visconsi Companies, cash management, compilation of budgets, payroll, and preparation of financial statements. Ms. Sekerak supervises two property accountants. 

Ms. Sekerak also is responsible for office management, human resources, and computer network administration. 

Ms. Sekerak has worked in the real estate industry for over twenty years. Prior to joining Visconsi Companies, she worked as an accountant in the construction department for Linclay Corporation, a commercial real estate developer. At Linclay, Ms. Sekerak was responsible for the preparation of construction draw requests and coordination of site inspections by lenders.

Other previous positions held were an Accountant with Developers Diversified, a Loan Administrator with Third Federal, and a Customer Service/Escrow Coordinator with Guardian Title.

Ms. Sekerak is a graduate of John Carroll University with a degree in Economics and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
