Jeffrey Cossel, P.E.

Jeff Cossel has been employed with Visconsi Companies, Ltd. since 1990. In his position as Development Manager/Construction Services, he handles all aspects of the due diligence for the new Visconsi Walgreens projects, including construction cost estimates, conceptual design, surveys, environmental and wetlands investigations, traffic studies, soils investigations, municipal approvals, architectural and engineering design. Jeff is similarly involved with many of the new Visconsi shopping center and retail projects as a member of the Construction Services Department.
As a state Licensed Professional Engineer, Mr. Cossel’s expertise in the technical aspects of new project development and his relationships with the multitude of outside consultants and municipalities has proven to be a real asset to the success of those new projects.
Prior to joining Visconsi Companies, Mr. Cossel was employed for four years by Developers Diversified, handling all aspects of project management for new retail projects in the eastern United States, and also for two years by Edward J. DeBartolo Corp., where he was responsible for construction estimating and scheduling for numerous retail and mixed-use projects throughout the country. Prior to joining DeBartolo, he was employed by Chicago & Northwestern Transportation Company, where, as a Management Trainee and Assistant Roadmaster. He supervised the maintenance and construction of various railroad company facilities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois.
Having obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1981 from Lehigh University, Mr. Cossel went on to earn an Executive MBA from Kent State University in 1986. He resides in Brecksville, Ohio with his wife Paulette and two daughters.
