Wal-Mart Supercenter and Sam’s Wholesale Club to Anchor New Retail Center in Bismarck
BISMARCK, ND, January 2005 - Visconsi Companies, Ltd. announced today the development of a Wal-Mart Supercenter and Sam’s Wholesale Club that will include additional retail space and outparcels available for lease. The 75 acre site is located at Bismarck Expressway and 26th Street and is a co-venture with Potts Companies, LTD of Columbus, Ohio.

Groundbreaking is expected to occur later this Spring with openings planned for early 2006. The development will share a major signalized access point, a continuation of Burlington Drive, with the planned 203,000 square foot Wal-Mart and 135,000 square foot Sam’s Wholesale Club. The Visconsi portion of the development will include a number of outparcels and up to 150,000 square feet of quality retail lease space.
